I still remember the first time I ever heard the poem “Phenomenal Woman” read aloud. Something shifted in me almost immediately. I held my head up high, my shoulders went straight back and I strutted my stuff. Those words were powerful and an instant reminder of just how amazing we are as women.
Maya Angelou, I sincerely thank you for being a woman of style, grace and confidence. You made us believe that anything was possible if we just believed. Your wisdom will travel with me for a lifetime. The greatest lesson you’ve taught us all is to truly live a life of boldness with no regret. Thank you!

Pretty women wonder where my secret lies.
I’m not cute or built to suit a fashion model’s size
But when I start to tell them,
