Last week I had the pleasure of interviewing a Bolder Sister who is truly making a huge impact in the lives of our young people.
One of my passions over the last 10 years has been helping job seekers prepare for their careers. From the young to the seasoned, helping people discover their strengths and pursue their passions has always been so fulfilling. So, when I had the opportunity to speak with Terri Fishback the Senior Director of Workforce Readiness at Boys & Girls Clubs of America, I jumped on the opportunity. Terri oversees this programming across all 4,300 Clubs nationwide to ensure that all Boys & Girls Club members are work and life ready.
More than ever before, our young people need to be inspired and need to know that thinking about the future should start today.
To prepare students with the skills needed to start a career, Boys & Girls Clubs of America partnered with The Hartford to open College & Career Centers in Clubs across the country, where teens can access workforce and continuing education resources that inform, motivate and equip them for success as they plan for their future after high school graduation.
Here’s more from my interview with Terri.

Wonderful interview!!! I always struggle with whether there is more for me to do and just end up becoming content with having a job. I need to step out more and find out what else I can offer not only myself, but the world!
