What does your favorite date night look like? Is it bike riding down Lake Shore Drive and having an ice cream cone? Or what about a nice dinner at the Signature Room amongst candle lights, rose petals and light jazz music? Or my favorite, going to your favorite restaurant and then ending the night with a movie and a cherry slurpie? I’m sure one or all of those options sound quite lovely for you and your lucky guy. But have you ever thought about dating yourself?
Please believe that there is nothing wrong with taking yourself out on a date. It is essential for understanding who you are and creating standards. I honestly feel that as women we should make dating ourselves mandatory before we decide to go on a date with anyone else. The more and more you get to know yourself the easier it will be to love yourself. When you truly love yourself you hold the key to understanding your self worth. Don’t let society trick you into believing that you only need a man to to take you on dates.
Bolder Sisters, I challenge you to pick a day or evening to go on the date of your dreams. Really do something nice and understand that you deserve it. On this date, choose an area of your life to dig deep. Ask yourself questions about your career or do a self reflection. You’ll feel a lot more confident in yourself because you’ll learn more about YOU.
Stay tuned for part 2!

Waiting on Part 2
It is really interesting. Too many of us rely on relationships to make us happy and we get disappointed each time
Dominique I love this idea and I plan to try it! Looking forward to ‘Part 2’
Awesome! Let me know how you feel once you try it 🙂
