2015 has been a year. There have been ups and downs and it took me a minute to find my footing. Once I got a hold of what I wanted to accomplish and started to truly believe I had what it takes to make it happen, I moved. I am so proud of what I was able to accomplish.
First, I am so proud of this blog and all the bold women that check in and read every post. I am also proud of my partner in crime on this blog, Kim, who is so courageous and is always open and honest with sharing her life with us. Adding her was one of the best decisions I made for this blog.
Second, I am proud to have written a book, A Conversation Piece, that empowers women and heals the broken communication in relationships.
Last, I am proud to have pushed myself through this year and done the things I had only talked about up until this point. Other big wins were being in Essence magazine and having an article on JetMag.com. It has been a crazy and bold year, and I couldn’t be happier.
I know the rest of my bolder sisters have experienced wins in 2015 as well and I want to hear about each one.

Congrats, you are doing great and I’m glad I get to watch your journey/success. My 2015 was blesses, however I feel like I’m going in circles and for 2016 I plan to figure out what I want out of life and what I need to do to make it happen!!!

I am so happy for you, Tiya. I’m currently reading my copy of your book(which is excellent,BTW). There are no words to describe how grateful I am for you and what you’ve done for me. You’ve encouraged me to press on in spite of my own challenges and given my an important feather in my wings :-)! I plan to fly a bit higher in 2016. Congratulations to you on a wonderful and progressive 2015!! I know 2016 will be a blast for you :-).
